Colorado School of English offers a variety of evening English language courses to participants whose main language is not English.
Au pair students under a J-1 visa are eligible to attend evening classes. One of the great advantages of being an au pair is the chance to take classes at American-accredited schools. The United States Department of State requires that all au pairs enroll in an accredited institution for not less than six credit hours of academic credit or its equivalent. This means that during your au pair year, you must take, generally, any two classes of your choosing in a classroom-type setting at an American accredited school. Your host family will contribute up to $500 toward the cost of these classes. Being an au pair is also a way to meet new people and make friends. Saturday classes are also available.
Immigrant students: These classes are also offered to immigrant students in order for them to develop their English skills. If you have schedule constraints and if you work during the day, evening classes are an excellent opportunity for you to develop your business English skills in order to get better job opportunities.
