English for Au Pairs
Accredited by ACCET, for Au Pairs to satisfy the credit requirements of the J1 visa.
*Note: Au Pair credits are not tranferable college credits.
Classes
Au Pairs may take as many classes as they like to complete their credit hours. We offer online, hybrid, and in-person courses.
Online Classes

Online classes are conducted via a live Zoom meeting with a teacher.
Au Pairs will need to ensure their LCC allows online classes, as per their agency's requirements.
Students must have a laptop/computer/tablet to access Zoom. They will also need a webcam and a microphone to interact and communicate with teachers and classmates.

Hybrid Classes
Hybrid classes give students the flexibility to choose when and how often they come to the school in person or join the live Zoom meeting from home.

Full-week in person classes meet
Monday thru Thursday at the same time each day at the school.
Not all in-person classes are available at all times. After you complete the placement tests, you will be given a list of classes to choose from based on your English level and class size.

Pass/Fail
The English for Au Pairs program is Pass/Fail. That means that students will need to pass their classes with a minimum of 60% GPA and 80% attendance in order to earn their credit letter.
Program Length
Your credits are earned by the number of hours you are in class. Your program length will depend on how many classes you take.

How to Apply
1. Apply Online @ https://englishamerica.classreach.com/apply
2. Pay the Invoice. Students need to pay at least the application fee in order to take the placement test.
2. Take the Placement Test to Assess English Level. We will send the placement test via email. Students can take it online (or at the school).
3. Complete ClassReach Profile. The online school account is where students will find class assignments, zoom links, and other helpful materials. Students will need to complete their profile on ClassReach before starting classes.
4. Choose Classes. Students can choose the classes that work with their schedule and according to their English level.
5. Start the program!
