Program Lengths
Colorado School of English is an open-enrollment school. We have term start dates every 4 weeks. View the calendar to choose your start date.
Students can study with us for up to 2 years in order to reach their English-language goals.
We have 4 sessions per year. Each session is 12 weeks long.

Full-time Schedule
F1 students are required to attend class in person full-time
(18 hours per week, Monday - Thursday).
Each of our classes is divided by skill level, allowing for smaller class sizes and more personalized instruction.
Students can choose the Day Program or the Evening Program
Student pass from one level to the next after one session, depending on the student's skill level, grades, and attendance.

Showing $1,600 per month that you wish to study with us.

If you would like to study for 6 months, your bank statement must show a minimum of $9,600 total; for 12 months, you must show a minimum of $19,200 total.

If your dependents would like to apply for an F-2 visa, we require an additional $850 per dependent per month.

If you are being sponsored by a third party, please be prepared to submit the sponsoring party’s financial information and address on the application.

Application Process

Complete application to Colorado School of English

Pay CSE application fee(s)
-
Receive acceptance letter and Initial I-20
-
Submit Form DS-160 (+write down your Application ID)
-
Locate the embassy or consulate where you will attend your visa appointment
-
Pay MRV fee ($185) and use receipt number to schedule appointment
-
Pay I-901 SEVIS fee ($350) anytime before your interview
-
Attend interview at embassy or consulate

Receive visa & send copy to CSE
-
Payment for first term of tuition required upon receipt of F1 visa

Purchase plane tickets & send a copy to CSE

Arrive in Denver no more than 30 days before your program start date & report to your DSO

Take placement tests to determine your English level

Start classes on your program start date

Attend mandatory orientation during your first week to receive your Active I-20

Textbooks are available for purchase at CSE or online. All other learning materials will be provided electronically via the student management system, ClassReach.
